Wes Pinkley
Pastor
Wes Pinkley, was born in Hawaii but grew up in the Daytona Beach, FL area. This afforded him time at the beach and the famous speedway. After years attending church, at age twenty he came to faith in Christ. Just two years later, a call to ministry came about after working with the youth of First Baptist of Daytona Beach.

While attending seminary in Fort Worth, TX, he met Melissa, who had grown up in Dickson, TN, about 40 minutes west of Nashville. Melissa's call to ministry and missions has been a nearly lifelong passion. She served for three months in Canada as a summer missionary with the North American Mission Board.

They married in Dickson in 1993. By Graduation in 1996, Benjamin was born. Soon after, Micah followed, as well as Levi and Abby. Benjamin is a chemist, married to Brooke and they live in Louisville. Micah is a student at Union University in Jackson, TN studying computer science. Levi attends Boyce College in Louisville and is headed to become a Missionary. Abby also plans on being a missionary but will soon enroll at Union University to take classes in occupational therapy.

Wes' education includes a degree in accounting from the University of North Florida, a Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Seminary, with an emphasis on Biblical Counseling. He is a certified biblical counselor with the Association of certified Biblical Counselors. Melissa holds degrees from Belmont University in psychology and biblical studies.

His ministry experience includes involvement at Springdale Baptist of Fort Worth, TX, First Baptist Daytona Beach and First Baptist Jacksonville. He has served as an intern at Riverside Baptist in Denver, CO. For over twenty-three years they have served churches together in Georgia, Illinois, and Kentucky. Wes has also conducted mission trips to South Korea and Bulgaria.

Wes' interests include gaming (PS4), wood working, reading, and coffee. He and Melissa enjoy visiting antique shops, coffee shops, and adventures with their kids.
